Tina Serb
Tina’s experience includes both strategic and operational broadcast management and business consultancy.
Tina’s professional career began at ITN. After joining as a programme researcher, she worked her way through the ranks, eventually becoming Head of ITN Archive. As part of the management team within the Central Resources Department during a period of major transition for ITN, her responsibilities included the implementation of technological and operational change, cost reduction and the introduction of flexible resourcing, and commercial and business development planning.
After gaining an MBA, Tina moved into the consultancy environment, where she has worked for both Logica and Capgemini, and latterly as an independent consultant. She has led the delivery of a range of projects to media and entertainment clients and her experience includes strategic planning, business case and business modelling, requirements and workflow analysis, business process improvement and change management. Her substantial experience of multi-media archives also means she is a specialist in digital asset management, metadata and rights management. Recent projects have included the development of a business architecture for the digital production environment, providing guidance on new media rights, and strategic analysis and business modelling for a new content exploitation opportunity.
