Keith Nicholas
Keith Nicholas, like so many in the industry, started his professional career at the BBC where he soon rose from being a transmission operator and colorist to planning and delivering technical training courses. He moved to TVI as a shift supervisor and soon became Operations Manager, before being recruited by the Walt Disney Company as Technical Operations Manager and ultimately Director of Broadcast Operations. At Disney Keith had a wide-ranging role including managing major studio projects in London, Paris and Tokyo; playing a key part in Disney's roll-out of HD; and sitting on Disney's Media Technology Board where he developed a special expertise in Media and Asset Management. Latterly he has been acting as Head of Broadcast Technology for MTV. Keith's speciality is developing and implementing simple solutions to complex problems, and in making technology contribute directly to business success.
